  • They do fail at music... they have a little stage, but during the day NO ONE IS THERE. And worse? There was NO MUSIC when we've been. Fail on that part.

  • There are a few slips for bigger boats, so that is why its a yes and a no. And its just so tight back in this cove, so you just better know what your doing!

The place I remember most as a kid.. The one and only Docknockers! It really is the one and only as it’s very very one of a kind. Come hungry, because you will want to indulge in the yummy and greasy buckets of all the fried seafoods they have to offer!

  • It's family friendly but is a little “dirty” compared to some of the newer places--It's a Dive Bar! I like it though asit has a lot of character.

Feeling a little fancier but on the water? Thats how I feel about H TOAD! No, it's not a fine dining steak house, but it is a cleaner and newer vibe with a little more class. You can order your steak and seafood dinner, or the burger, fries and pizza!

Also, I put a "?" because it's been awhile since I have visited and I may just not had the best experience. So I will be giving it another try this year!

A lake of the ozark CLASSIC! I just went here for dinner this past weekend with some girls and we hung out all night with the band just blowing out our eardrums... killer time! I typically go for dinner and/or drinks at least once a year during my ozark weekends.

  • The dinner area upstairs is 100% great for kids to come and eat. It gets a little wilder at night and down by the pool though

Who let the dogs out! I do not go here much but I have been a few times. It's right on the main channel so you can't miss it! My ranking will not have a lot, since I have only been twice and it's been like 2 years... but this is what my thoughts were...

The main pool when you first get in is 100% kid friendly, but still a bit of a party but the top pool--Hide Tide-- I hear is a rager. I personally have not went, but have been told it’s CRAZY!

I have only been here once, but I LOVED IT! You can't really miss it as it is right on the main channel and also one of the most--if not the most--colorful places to eat on the lake. If you are ready for a fun tropical vibe with a killer menu then this is the place for you.

A Key West vibe in the Midwest they call it. So, if you know me you know Key West is my #1 spot in America, my ultimate fav U.S. destination. So why would I rate this 7/10? Only for a few reasons that may not be important to others but here they are.. Its so far back in a cove, its kind of hard to get around and park, and then also it's just packed.. and with children... and I don't have kids so prefer not to show up at what feels like a kids park on busy days!

The treasure hunt it over.. we have found the ultimate Ozark gold... Captain Ron's awaits you! Throw on your pirate hat and let's get the party started... and yes, you read that right.. 10 out of 10! I just went there for the first time over the 4th of July this year and I was OBSESSED. From the moment we pulled up and and saw the AMAZING & fun atmosphere this place had I fell in love. It only got better the closer I got and then one seeing & tasting their menu I was like "This is my favorite place, hands down." If you have not gone, I 100% recommend! The ONLY downfall I could see was that its further down the lake from the popular area... but who doesn't love a good long cruise everyone in awhile?

Before you judge my ranking if you have been here.. I was only here ONCE and I barely made it into the property because we got seated right in the front. So, I will rate off of my personal experience. However, if my mom ( 50 years old ) was to rate this, it is her #1 spot and she would rank it a 10/10!

Ladies, slip on your summertime dress and men button up that warm weather shirt and get ready for some finer dining on the lake. You do not HAVE to dress up, but it is a more "classy" place vs the others I have mentioned above. It's a very special and unique establishment because there is not really any other fine dining places to go for dinner on the lake. Yes, there are many off of the lake that over look the lake, but not ones you can get to via the boat. I had a good experience the 2 times I went--other than them throwing a fit with sitting us, that was a mess-- so I do recommend this for a evening out!

  • Again, if your going for your typical lake bar and food establishment this is not your casual place to hit up for the party. But, I rank it high because of its uniqueness and it is pretty awesome to actually have a steak and seafood house spot on the water.

Another "one time visit" to this shack for me over this year 4th of July. It sits back in a really popular cove we like to hangout in, and decided to give it a go one evening. It's a colorful dive bar type of feel if you ask my opinion which is typically my family's type of gig! Some things great, some things not so fantastic but I would like to give it another go for a second chance one of these days.

  • Crab legs, peel n' eat, shrimp skewers, multiple salads and grilled wraps!

  • Okay so I LOVE the look of the place, it's my kind of lakeside bar and grill BUT I am rating this bad, because it smells like sewer.... At least when we went, we ended up moving around front because we got seated on the side and none of us could handle it. So that is my reason for the 7.

• RELAXED AND/OR PARTY - Kind of both?
  • I have only been once, but it was closer to dinner so a band was going and people were dancing and having a good ol' time! But we sat up more on the deck, which was a little calmer, and where the kids were as well

• BOAT PARKING FOR LARGE BOATS - Y/N - Yes
• ALL AROUND RANK - 6/10
  • I like the look of the place and if it didn't smell like garbage I would rank that part higher. I didn't think the menu was bad, nothing crazy special though. Overall a decent experience, but not a place I am dying to go back too.
